Transportation & Infrastructure (6)
Commercial jet service for the Tupelo-Lee County area is provided through the Tupelo Regional Airport (TUP) and with connecting flights to Nashville International Airport (BNA). Last year TUP had over 15,000 passengers. The airport has a 13,600 square foot terminal, nine (9) conventional hangars, and 18 paved tie-down spaces. The runway is 7,150 feet long with a 150 foot wide grooved pavement surface. The field offers instrument approaches, a full lighting system, and a control tower.
