Matt McCarty currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 75-year-old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Matt offers valuable insight as a financial planner on off-balance sheet leases, leveraging capital, and taxation for new business developments. A member of both the Mississippi Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Matt has over 10 years of experience in the private and non-profit accounting fields.
Matt received his master’s in accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He resides in Tupelo with his wife and two sons. On the rare occasions Matt is not number crunching at CDF, he enjoys water-sports at the lake with his family and dogs, woodworking and cheering on the Ole Miss rebels.
