Gwen Salters currently serves as Administrative Support Specialist for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 75-year-old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Gwen provides administrative support to an array of functions at CDF including the accounting department, the chamber of commerce and overseeing the Renasant Center for IDEAS.
Gwen attended Itawamba Community College and has lived in Lee County her entire life. Her working career includes long stints at Reeds Manufacturing and Ross. She is an active member of Kimble Chapel Baptist Church in Belden. Gwen has two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. When not working at CDF, Gwen enjoys sewing, crafting and floral arranging.
